Unapologetically Black.

I am unapologetically Black. I don't apologize for my blackness. I will never apologize for it. But my heart hurts because of the way we are treated. Not just because #BLACKLIVESMATTER but because if all lives really matter.. then why is it that no one seems to have any regard for that anymore. I find it very hard to hate someone I have never encountered. I am not a race baiter. I am not against non Blacks. I have not met every person that there is in this world therefore I can not claim that they all hate us.

But what I do know is that we can not continue to allow people to break us! The same pride that our ancestors had we must get. That is the thing that will make us more powerful than we already are. You see, no one can take away the power that is within you. EVER! But what they can do is make you believe that you are powerless. 

So my challenge to you is to be UNAPOLOGETIC!! You be you! You be your beautiful Afrocentric, melanin infused, Black self!!! There's not a thing in  this world that you can not do if you put your mind to it. Faith it!!
